Clogged or damaged gutters send water pooling at your foundation. We repair, replace, and clear to protect your home's foundation and siding.
Gutters do one critical job: channel rainwater away from your roof and foundation. When gutters are clogged with leaves and debris, water overflows and pools against your basement wall, causing foundation cracks and wet basements. Frozen ice dams in winter push water back under the roof, causing leaks inside. Damaged gutters with holes or loose sections do the same thing. Regular gutter cleaning and occasional repair prevent foundation damage, mould, and expensive basement renovation.
We offer gutter cleaning (removing debris and inspecting for damage), gutter repair (patching holes, re-hanging loose sections, sealing seams), and full gutter replacement if yours are beyond repair. We also install gutter guards or heated gutter systems if you're in a freeze-prone area of Chicago and ice dams are recurring. All downspouts are extended or buried to route water at least 6 feet from your foundation. A clean gutter system is cheap insurance against foundation problems.
